Grain Delivery Declaration: What Producers Should Know

On Thursday, January 23, 2025 Alberta Grains together with SaskBarley, SaskWheat and APAS to hold a free webinar for farmers to present the outcomes of a legal review these partners undertook in engagement with the law firm D’arcy & Deacon LLP.

The legal review focused on determining potential risks or liabilities associated with the implementation of a mandatory statutory grain delivery deceleration when CUSMA came into force. Often grain companies include the statutory decelerations together with their commercial decelerations under one form and one signature.
