PMRA Re-Instates Feed Uses for Lambda-Cyhalothrin!
On February 3rd, 2025 the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) announced that, effective immediately, grain treated with lambda-cyhalothrin is once again an acceptable source of livestock feed. The reinstatement applies to grain and meal from treated canola, cereals, field corn, soybean and pulses. After extensive efforts from partners across the grain value-chain to scientifically demonstrate the product’s safety, this decision resolves an issue that has created complexity for producers over the last couple of growing seasons.
