On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) Re-open for applications

As of April 9, 2025, the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) administered by RDAR, is reopen for applications. OFCAF provides financial support to help farmers adopt on-farm beneficial management practices (BMPs) in three activity areas: improving nitrogen management, increasing adoption of cover cropping and expanding the adoption of rotational grazing.

Farmers in Alberta with a minimum gross farm income of $25,000 are eligible to apply.The minimum project cost is $2,500 and must include a BMP action plan made in consultation with a Professional Agrologist (Pag) or Certified Crop Advisor (CCA).
